We often get asked about the different classes we

We often get asked about the different classes we offer at Be Yoga.

We want to keep it as simple as possible, life is constantly about making decisions and your yoga practice should just be about coming to class rather than worrying what the class will be like.

Less expectation and more acceptance leads to a more peaceful life 💫

So most of our classes are Hot Flow with each teacher having their own style and allowing their personality, authenticity and passion to be expressed organically through their teaching. We are very lucky that we have such fantastic teachers who hold the space true to themselves with each class coming from their heart.

We also offer more structured practices of Hot Rocket and Hot Ashtanga. Plus our weekly Hot Pilates.

Sunday evenings are all about the mind and the soul, we have Yin Sound Healing and Chill and a monthly breathwork. See the new page on our website for more information about each class.

Yin, Sound and Chill. On the first and third Sun

Yin, Sound and Chill.

On the first and third Sunday of each month you can join Josie and Luke for 75 minutes of nourishment for the mind, body and soul.

Yin works deeply into your body with passive longer-held poses. It targets the deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues, ligaments, joints, bones, the deep fascia networks of the body and the meridians. The class will consist of a series of mainly floor poses particularly focusing on the lower part of the body, hips, pelvis, inner things, lower spine using props to assist. Energetically yin improves the energy flow, enhancing the flow of chi in the organs. Yin is finding stillness and cooling of the body, great to do alongside the Yang practice of our Hot Vinyasa Flow Yoga.

Josie will guide you through the poses, explaining and demonstrating ensuring you are comfy and will offer adjustments and props to assist you.

This movement will be complimented by sound healing. Sound healing is an ancient practice that harnesses the power of sound vibrations to promote healing and relaxation. It is a powerful therapy that combines different healing sounds, music and sound healing instruments to improve multidimensional well-being by creating a beautiful experience where all levels of your energy field body, mind, soul and spirit are awakened gently and lovingly.

This class will not be heated. You can book now via the website, this class is always fully booked so book early to avoid missing out. 6-7.15pm, Investment, £17.

It was 5 years today Be Yoga opened and the majority of people who nervously walked through the door those first weeks, had never practiced yoga or even heard of hot yoga! When we opened we had one teacher (Beth) and offered 6 weekly classes. Now 5 years on we have 9 fantastic teachers, 16 classes and an incredible community!

We (siblings Luke and Beth) felt passionately about creating a space to serve the community. We personally had felt the power yoga had to change lives, particularly hot yoga and we wanted to make this accessible to as many people as possible. We wanted to BE the change and bring Hot Yoga out of the city and into rural Huddersfield so you too could all feel it’s magic!

What you think, you become. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine, you create.

We had the vision to create and convert what was an old derelict mill into a place of tranquility, a safe space for you to escape the reality of the outside world. A space with no external distractions, a place you can BE you, a place you can BE present, a place you can BE with your Breath, BE with your mind, BE with your body, a place you can just BE 💫

Breathwork with Leanne 6-7.30pm the last Sunday of the month.

Breathwork moves us away from abandoning our deepest layers and befriending each and every part of us so that we can live presently in wholeness, balance, and reverence.

Leanne will be guiding you through Transformational breathing. A conscious powerful breathing technique, that can transform your life.

On the physical level, deep diaphragmatic breathing allows oxygen to reach our cells and organs, increasing our energy and helping to detoxify and cleanse our bodies. Stimulating circulation and balancing the flow of energy through the body.

On the mental-emotional level, it helps reduce stress, relieves depressive and negative emotions and promotes feelings of calm and peace.

On the spiritual level, full, conscious connected breathing can help us connect with our higher selves and tap into our innate wisdom, releasing trapped emotions from the body creating deep healing within.

No experience is needed, everybody is welcome.
