We are really excited to announce that we have a guest teacher and handstand expert coming out of the city to teach our very first handstand workshop here at Be Yoga. We have had lots of requests to offer handstand workshops so we are really grateful @handstandy is offering this to our community.

Handstandy, is a Northern hand balancing enthusiast, self-taught and passionate about sharing the art of handstand. Aiming to develop the hand balancing scene up north as he’s recently moved back from London. We have an, Introduction to Yoga Course starting on the 3rd October, a 5 week course running until 31 October 7.30-8.30pm.

This class is for anyone who, is new to yoga, has practiced before but hasn’t been to a class for a while, anyone who would like to deepen their knowledge understanding and practice, anyone who has tried yoga but hasn’t yet felt the magic, anyone who is struggling with anything in life right now, anyone who is looking for direction, discipline, guidance, anyone looking for a community of like minded people…this is for everyone.

You can now book to join Josephine on this 5 week journey. Josephine will take you on a journey of discovery, a journey into the ancient practice of yoga. A journey for your body mind and soul. She will guide you through the foundations of the physical practice, giving you an understanding of yoga principles both on and off the mat. Josephine will share her wisdom and passion, building you with the confidence to deepen your practice and continue this discovery of your true self.

Summer is often the time we say ‘yes’ to invitations, we get stuck into projects and passions, we travel and explore and fit as much into our day as possible. Often feeling more motivated and full of energy than we do in those winter months. As a result we experience a lack of routine, little time to be present, to slow down and connect your mind, body and soul.

Grounding back on the mat, is where your self care starts a reminder to take care of you. To eat well, speak well, move well, live well in order to Be the best version of you. So in addition to our usual timetable we have a variety of offerings for you next month so you can, create new habits, new routines and check back in with you. Pregnancy Yoga.

Beth will be running a 4 week pregnancy course starting Saturday 7 September 5-6pm.

These Pregnancy Yoga classes will help you to adapt to the changes occurring in your body in a positive way through safe and effective movements, breathing and relaxation techniques. Mindful movement will be encouraged and you will be given guidance and freedom to move organically while nurturing your baby within. This will be an opportunity to switch off from every day life, be present and connect with your body, your breath and your baby to truly embrace the magical journey you are on. The movements, mediations and breath work will support you during pregnancy, labour and beyond. This is also an opportunity to connect with other pregnant ladies within our community.
